Kumar Sangakkara (captain), Muttiah Muralitharan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Tillekeratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardena, Upul Tharanga, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Kapegedera, Angelo Mathews, Nuwan Kulasekera, Thilan Thushara Mirando, Thilina Kandamby, Dhammika Prasad, Ajantha Mendis, Lasith Malinga.
Including Upul Tharanga in the squad is a real blunder. Surely Sanath Jayasuriya and Dilshan will open the innings in every match. So why include Tharanga. He will just be a passenger in this tour. If one of the opening batter gets injured Someone like Mahela or Kumar can open. Tharanga's place should have gone to a fast bowler, Maharoof or Dilhara Fernado. Lasith Malinga was also not doing great in ODI matches recently. Maharoof has the batting ability too. He did well against touring Pakistan A team.

I really like to watch Nuwan Kulasekara our current best bowler in ODIs. Nuwan has kept the No 1 ranking for some time. Lets see how he will perform and whether he will be the best wicket taker in this tournament?. In South Africa if the conditions help swing, his accuracy, in-swinging, and the odd one that goes straight could help him to keep his place in the ICC rankings. Hope Murali will get the same opportunity to improve his record as the highest wicket-taker in Champions Trophy history with 23 wickets. Has a good competitor in the team it self is young Mendis !!

SA was clueless against mendis. NZ and Eng also will struggle. Yea Murali will come to his own as the tournament progresses.
